  • Dr Kavi Deo

    GP I Director

    BSc (Human Anatomy), MBChB, FRNZCGP

    Dr Kavi Deo was born in Christchurch and proudly traces his family roots to Fiji. He completed his medical degree at the University of Auckland and has been practising in Grey Lynn for over six years. For the past three years, he has been the owner and director of Grey Lynn Family Medical Centre.

    During his time in Grey Lynn, Kavi has developed strong, intergenerational relationships with many of his patients. He brings a broad range of clinical experience, with training in surgical anatomy, radiology, musculoskeletal medicine, cosmetic medicine, and general practice education. He is also actively involved in mentoring and training new GPs.

    As an experienced procedural GP, Dr Deo offers a variety of minor surgical services through the clinic.

  • Dr Mish Glauser

    GP I Associate

    MBChB

    Dr Glauser was born and raised in Wellington with Swiss and Samoan whakapapa. She currently lives in the Waitakere ranges. She moved from emergency medicine to general practise in 2020 after recognising her call to remain in relationship with patients. She has been drawn to generalist specialties as it allows her to work with patients holistically.

    Her interests include mind-body medicine, gut health and women’s health. Outside of work you will often find her with her hands in clay at the Titirangi Pottery Club.

  • Dr Neil Hefford

    GP I Associate

    MBChB, FRNZCGP

    Neil graduated from Auckland Medical School in 1985 and founded the practice in 1991 and many of his patients have been with him since. He has a particular interest in Health Policy, integrated care, and the well-being of our local community.

    In June 2022 Neil stepped back from managing the practice but continue on in his clinical role as a GP with over 30 years of experience.

  • Dr Susan Zussman

    MBChB, FRNZCGP

    Susan studied medicine in the UK and moved to New Zealand in 1991. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interests in children’s health, women’s health and preventative health care.

    She values working alongside the dedicated team at GLFMC and the strong and enduring relationships that have been built with the individuals and families who we care for.

  • Dr Katherine Fricker

    GP I Associate

    BSc, MSc (Honours) MBChB, PGDip Paediatrics

    Dr Katherine grew up in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand with her family after high school. She previously worked as a Medical Physicist before retraining in medicine, graduating from The University of Auckland.

    She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with interests in disease prevention, women's health and children's health. Outside of work, she enjoys ocean swimming, hiking and exploring the natural beauty of New Zealand. 

  • Dr Adrienne Morales

    GP I Associate

    BSc, MBChB, PGDip Obstetrics and Medical Gynaecology

    Adrienne was born in the Philippines and raised in Auckland. She completed her medical degree at The University of Otago in 2018 and worked in Hawke’s Bay before moving back to Auckland in 2022.

    Adrienne has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Medical Gynaecology and is currently working towards completing her GP and Urgent Care Fellowships.

  • Dr Hayden Shin

    MBChB, PGDip Paediatrics

    Hayden is originally from South Korea but grew up in Auckland and completed his medical training at the University of Otago in Dunedin. Since graduating in 2016, he has gained broad experience working across the Auckland region in internal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, and emergency medicine before focusing on paediatrics for the past 4 years as a registrar.

    Hayden is passionate about patient-centred primary and preventive care for all ages, with a focus on empowering individuals to take charge of their health. Outside of medicine, he enjoys running, resistance training, reading, and spending time with his family and church community. He values meaningful relationships and supporting others on their health journey.

    Liz grew up in Northland and recently returned to NZ after living in Melbourne. She has experience in Hospital & Community Addiction Nursing. She is excited to return to Primary Care as she is passionate about preventative Healthcare and advocating for her patients needs.

    Registered Nurse

    Irene completed her Bachelor of Nursing through the University of Auckland and brings with her a wide range of community experience.

    Irene is passionate about chronic care and with working towards broadening her clinical scope to cover nurse prescribing in the years to come.

    Irene can understand Mandarin, Korean and Japanese.

    Nicole grew up in Northland and has spent the last 8 years nursing in Whangārei. After working in general surgery at Whangārei hospital, she moved into general practice, where she completed her nurse prescriber training.

    She is passionate about supporting people to manage long term conditions, and has a particular interest in diabetes care.

    Kristine has recently joined our team. She brings with her a wide range of nursing experience which includes care and management of both acute and chronic care in the community.

    Anna joined our team in May 2022. Enrolled patients are referred directly to her from our GP’s and nurses.

    Anna provides patient centered support, motivation and guidance to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence in patients to achieve their health and well being goals.

    Helen is available Mon, Wed and Fridays and can help with mental health, stress, anxiety, sleep and goal setting amongst others.

    Helen enjoys film, music and the outdoors in her spare time.
